Cricket Australia have released the official schedule for the 2026/27 International series, headlined by the 150th Anniversary Test match against England at the MCG.
The Australian cricket schedule for 2026/27 includes 27 matches in 14 venues across eight months, kicking off in August with a two-Test series against Bangladesh in Darwin and Mackay
The men will then play a five-match T20I series against England in November, playing around Australia between November 21 and December 2, with Melbourne, Gold Coast, Brisbane, Sydney, and Canberra all getting a fixture.
The men’s Test series over the Summer is against New Zealand, with a four-Test series lined up, with Brisbane the venue to miss out as Perth, Adelaide, Sydney, and Melbourne featuring.
Australia’s men's schedule will finish up with the 150th Anniversary Test match at the MCG between March 11 and 15, with a day-night Test planned between Australia and England.
The Australian women will begin their 2026/27 schedule against Bangladesh in October with a three-match T20I series at North Sydney.
In February, the Aussie women will take on New Zealand in a T20I series, with matches in Sydney, Canberra, and Melbourne, before taking on the same rivals in an ODI series a week later over the first week of March.
“We’re delighted to release an international schedule that ensures fans across Australia will see our brilliant national teams play over eight months at many fantastic venues across the country,” Cricket Australia CEO Todd Greenberg said.
“Our rivalry with the Kiwis has always been hard fought and produced many memorable moments and the men’s Test series and women’s white ball series will be no exception.
“We’re also delighted to take Test cricket back to Darwin and to Mackay for the first time with northern Australia providing a fantastic alternative timeslot in the crowded international schedule for the men’s series against Bangladesh.
“The 150th Anniversary Test Match will be a wonderful conclusion to the summer with the cricket world coming to the MCG to celebrate the game’s historic rivalry and also the superstars from across the world who have made Test cricket great.
“We’re extremely grateful for the support of all our broadcast, commercial, government and venue partners who will help ensure Australia’s national sport again thrills millions of fans throughout another eventful season.”
