With State of Origin on the horizon, Corey Parker has named the first iteration of his rolling Game I squad for the Maroons.
Having recaptured the shield last year, hopes are high amongst Queenslanders that they’ll continue their winning ways into 2026.
Basing his selections on their current form, the Broncos legend has already made some changes to the side that won Game III.
The most has seen Parker drop current Wally Lewis Medallist Tom Dearden to the bench in favour of New Zealand’s Tanah Boyd.
The former Titans halfback, who was born in Penrith but moved to Queensland as a kid, has been a key part of the Warriors’ unbeaten run so far.
And it's enough to convince Parker that he should take up the starting role at the moment.
“I’ll tell you what, there is no form better than Tanah Boyd’s at the moment,” Parker declared on SENQ Breakfast.
“Three from three with the Warriors, (he) has done an exceptional job.”
State of Origin begins from May 27 with New South Wales hosting Queensland at Accor Stadium for Game I.
