Demons ditch club polos for casual wear

The Melbourne Demons have traded in their club polos for some stylish looks ahead of their clash against the Blues.

During their Round 3 clash at the MCG on Sunday, the likes of Max Gawn, Kysaiah Pickett and Changkuoth Jiath were all photographed by club media entering the MCG wearing casual clothes into the change rooms.

This is a change from what is usually allowed for AFL players who are often required to wear club issued uniform which has several of the side's sponsors.

Prior to the season getting underway, there was a reported desire from players to be able to wear something other than club-issued uniform.

In fact, the AFL Players' Association (AFLPA) supported the move on Instagram having commented
