Adam Simpson and Gerard Whateley have named their top four seeds following Round 4 of 2026.
Simpson and Whateley will each rank the four teams they have the most confidence in going forward on a weekly basis throughout the year.
The seedings will be updated as the season goes on via SEN’s Whateley.
See the seedings below:
1 - Brisbane
"I needed a bit more evidence, and what they did on the weekend just reminded us all of how good they are."
2 - Western Bulldogs
3 - Fremantle
"They've done nothing to take away my thoughts on them this year, and they've got a good fixture coming up."
4 - Hawthorn
"Yesterday's game mattered."
1 - Brisbane
"Every ounce of me wanted to put them at one last week, and they are obviously at one this week. They are the best team in it, with players to come back!"
2 - Western Bulldogs
"They play (Hawthorn), so they can sort their position out head-to-head on Saturday night."
3 - Hawthorn
4 - Sydney
"Play-in game between Sydney and Gold Coast. Winner goes in.
"The Dockers are the flaw in my seedings. If I put them in and they lose to Collingwood, I'll kick myself from here to Christmas, so I'm not doing it for the moment."
