All charges against Steven May and Dion Prestia have been dropped.
SEN’s Tom Morris has reported that charges against the premiership pair relating to an alleged incident in Sorrento from December 2024 have now been dropped.
Morris says that the prosecution has been ordered to pay their costs and that Prestia and May had always vehemently maintained their innocence.
Richmond’s Prestia and May, who recently retired from Melbourne, had both been charged by Victoria Police in October, 2025.
The pair were part of a larger group who had been celebrating a bucks party at the Continental Hotel in Sorrento on Boxing Day of 2024.
