Race 3 No.10 - Signor Del Gatto

Beaten a long way in a listed event on debut but nothing went right. Rider reported the horse was very immature and green. Has since had a solid jump out and look to race more generously.

Race 6 No.7 - Zeshadow Strong

Fitness base to overcome the heavy conditions and seemed to get the going the line nicely enough last start to suggest 2000m will be ideal for her. Can settle closer from an inside alley.

MORNINGTON

__Race 1 No.2 - Balmoral Castle __

Spent a preparation in NSW but was unable to break maiden status. All that form looks stronger than anything in this race. Very weak maiden and drawn to control the race.

Race 6 No.2 - Real Intrigue

Happy to give this horse another go off the starting price profile in similar race last start. Claimer goes on and the run two starts ago would be good enough to win this.

Race 2 No.10 - Star of Lily

Got worked up at the gates on debut and failed to handle the occasion.

Was tipped out for a spell and looks to have returned a filly capable of breaking maiden status. Ear muffs go on to calm her down.

Race 4, No.1 - Farnenheit

Was brave first up and will improve from that after he hit the line coming from last. Draws bad again and watch for him late, he can win.

MUDGEE

Race 6, No.11 - Bolo Miss

Just doesn’t know how to run a bad race. Draws perfectly for her first run at this trip which I think she needs.

Gets back onto a better surface which she will appreciate. She’s the one they have to beat.

BALLARAT

__Race 5, No.4 - Kid Dynamite __

Hits this third up and he should handle the heavy.

Dominant win first up and was a bit unlucky second up as he does get back and needs to make his own luck.

Draws out again but will appreciate the extra trip. I’d love to see him win for the owners.

__Race 7, No.1 - Notabadbuy (value) __

Looks to be over the odds.

Comes out of a very handy race last start having been beaten by 3.75 (lengths) where the form has stood up.

Nice drop in grade, will handle the heavy and will race on the pace. Well worth an EW play.
