Collingwood has lobbied the AFL to secure Scott Pendlebury a greater revenue share of his record-breaking jumper.

Pendlebury will break the games record against West Coast at the MCG in Round 11 and is set to wear a multitude of jumpers of mark the history-making occasion.

The current Collective Bargaining Agreement states that players with “Player Milestone items” are entitled to a profit share of 65 per cent, with the remaining 35 per cent going to the club involved.

But in a nod to their champion, it can be revealed that the Pies have moved to get Pendlebury a greater share of the revenue for any jumpers sold in the aftermath of the record-breaking game.

While the exact figure is unclear, it’s understood the Pies have indeed secured a higher percentage of income for the evergreen midfielder.

Pendlebury will be rested for Friday’s night game at the SCG before he goes past Brent Harvey with his 433rd game at the Eagles in a home game that could draw more than 90,000 fans.

Collingwood tonight confirmed the Round 11 side would wear a “commemorative SP433” guernsey for the occasion.
