With Canterbury-Bankstown staring down the barrel of a six-game losing streak, Andrew Voss believes this week's clash is do-or-die for the Bulldogs' season.

Since defeating the Panthers in Round 6, the club have found themselves on the losing end in all of their last five matches.

As a result, the club has slipped from 7th to 14th on the ladder with their attacking woes on full display, having averaged 14.4 points per game in that period.

With a clash against the 4-7 Melbourne Storm this weekend, Voss believes the Dogs need to win this to keep their season alive.

“It's blast furnace pressure now for Canterbury,” Voss explained on SEN’s Front Office with Vossy.

“There are only two teams that have won less games than the Bulldogs this year, the Titans with two wins and the Dragons yet to win a game.

“The Bulldogs play Friday night against the Storm. This is Grand Final time for Canterbury.

“A few things really alarm me from the weekend game, and this has been backed up by some of the Fox League experts, voices like (Cooper) Cronk, (Greg) Alexander and (Luke) Keary.

“The Bulldogs' attack is getting worse. They're actually getting worse by the week.

“Kurt Mann comes back into the side. He was effective, always in the middle. (He) played Origin Game 3 last year.

“Comes on (in the) dummy half roll, his service was poor.

“The attack was, they barely had a set where you thought, ‘Gee, that was good by the Bulldogs’.

“I'm talking about a set of six.

“I think Canterbury right now, this Friday, is (their) Grand Final. I really do.

“I love what the club's achieved the last two years, the passionate fan base, the 50,000+ crowds, the way they were playing, but this week, there is no excuse, you play like this is our last match.”

The Bulldogs will look to break their five-game losing streak against the Storm on Friday night.

The clash takes place at Accor Stadium with kick-off at 8pm AEST.
