An unprecedented surge in demand has seen the AFL Record — temporarily rebadged as The Scott Pendlebury — sell out at the MCG more than an hour before the Collingwood legend’s milestone 433rd game last Saturday.

Fans snapped up the commemorative edition in extraordinary numbers ahead of Pendlebury’s history-making appearance, underscoring the magnitude of the occasion and the champion midfielder’s enduring popularity.

In response, SEN has confirmed a reprint has been ordered, with fresh copies available for order now via the AFL Record website at aflrecord.com.au, priced at $9 plus postage.

Collingwood fans will also be able to secure copies in person, with stock arriving at the MCG Superstore from Thursday. Wider distribution will follow next week, with the special edition expected to hit most newsagents, as well as Coles and Woolworths stores across Victoria.

Pendlebury’s 433rd game cements his status as one of the AFL’s all-time greats, and the overwhelming demand for the commemorative publication reflects the significance of the milestone within the football community.
