Australia has suffered its first injury of the FIFA World Cup with goalkeeper giant Mark Bosnich taken out and hospitalised after a penalty shootout against...Gillon McLachlan.
The former Socceroos and Manchester United keeper was locked in a sudden death shootout with the ex-AFL CEO, and it landed him in the emergency room.
"I hit it flush. He overreacted," McLachlan said.
News of Bozza's injury was covered by SEN's Adam Peacock who said: "I think he's picked up a six to eight weeker in his knee.
"I think he's moved a bit too well and he's ended up with a quite severe knee injury so all our love to Bozza. Hopefully this doesn't rule you out or put us down a number for the World Cup."
