SANDOWN (Hillside) Race 4 No.2 - CLEVOR TREVOR - Two for two this prep and first go wet, first go 1400m latest and he was strong late albeit on a great day to swoop! 3rd- Bel Mezyaan good again last week. No poor runs yet. Up to 58kg.

BET OF THE DAY (Sydney)

ROSEHILL - Race 5 No.6 - SURF’S UP - Just missed Vs tempo 2nd-up then back and very wide Randwick and excellent when out to 1400m there. Go well.

VALUE BET OF THE DAY

SANDOWN (Hillside) Race 9 No.3 - EMMADELLA - Beaten for speed (fast pace) Caulfield 2nd-up off long break and ran home nicely. The last time she was at 1400m she beat all-bar the smart Cool Jakey. The $12 looks value in wide race.

Rosehill - Race 8 - Listed Q.E Cup - 2400m

1 - 7 - THEBUDGIESMUGLA - Tough win 2400m then back in trip up on strong speed in Mayors Cup and so brave in real swoopers race. Meets Portland 6.5kg better back up in trip.

2 - 2 - MAISON LOUIS - Way back and badly hampered latest. Good finale prior and looked ready to win. Won only go 2400m and yes drier.

3 - 1 - PORTLAND - Took a very good scalp in Zambardo latest and he too won his only go 2400m. Weights are the next challenge.

4 - 6 - BLACK RUN - Also had race-shape/ tempo dead-against latest and he’s 2 for 2 at trip. Very honest and in light.

5 - 4 - CABOCHE - Ran home very well that same race and was on slower inside lanes.. Has a case for sure.
