After making his State of Origin debut in Game I, Penrith's Casey McLean will not feature in Game II.

New South Wales Rugby League (NSWRL) confirmed on Saturday afternoon that during their training session in Gosford, the 20-year-old strained a quadriceps muscle.

As a result, Sydney's Mark Nawaqanitawase will go from the extended bench into the starting line-up as a winger with Toluta’u Koula moving into the centres to fill the void left by McLean.

With Nawaqanitawase now taking a starting spot, the Dolphins' Jack Bostock has been called up to join Laurie Daley's 20-man squad.

The Blues will head down to Melbourne on Saturday night with Game II taking place on June 17 (this Wednesday).

The match will be played at the Melbourne Cricket Ground with kick-off at 8:05pm AEST.

SEN will have all rugby league fans covered with THREE different live calls of the match available across SEN's radio network and on the SEN app with Maroons and Blues Radio alongside a neutral Origin LIVE call.
