Miles Pfitzner & Cam Luke have your Thursday sorted on Trackside.
The lads have taken a close look at Warrnambool, Wyong & Northam in a bid to find the family some winners.
See their best bets below:👇
WYONG
Race 4 | 4. Sardar
Race 8 | 2. Whack Attack
NORTHAM
Race 3 | 3. Two Up Boom
Race 5 | 2. Flash Dancer
Race 7 | 2. Tag Time
Race 8 | 4. Sweet Surrender
WARRNAMBOOL
Race 4 | 1. Bellonado
Forget last start in town when zero luck in the straight. Easier race here and the slop is 100% in it's wheelhouse. 3kg claim from a jockey in form is nice and back to the 2000m and The Bool are both ticks.
Race 5 | 7. Charming Deel
Dark Simba/Perfect Ten/Geffina is all winning form of which this girl has chased home lately. Down a little in class when stepping out to 1700m for the first time I like. Was good here on the heavy track in the Carnival and wider might be better so the wide gate doesn’t hurt her as long as she gets cover.
Race 7 | 6. Dynamite Dancer
Comes back to the 1100m which I think works here in a tricky prep so far! Saddle slipped last start so forget that even though ran half OK. Heavy track so issue and DY can be 1-1 and be too good for these. One out in the quaddie!
WYONG
Race 4 | 6. Concrete Storm
Was a little flat when started fav second start but might have had enough. Feels like he will be a miler so resuming over 1300m is a big tick. Been gelded as well to help him relax. Drawn nicely to find his groove in the run stalking the speed. Soft track won't be a major hindrance and he has trialled well so back in good order. Will take beating!
Race 5 | 4. Capdiva
The form of it's first prep is certainly enough for this. Only the one trial but it was impressive and the SG claim will allow to jump and run with relative ease in front. Soft track won't hurt and the main challenger was scratched. Best of the day at Wyong.
Race 6 | 2. Prince Of Sorts (each-way)
I thought he was decent enough resuming at Doomben first up and this is no tougher. He has won second up before and I like him staying at 1350m second up. Local horse who runs well here. Claim is a win as the barrier isn't so a little luck will be needed but if he gets cover as expected with the speed here (Supreme Command/Doradus/Lugarno) he will be very hard to hold out late with extra fitness. Drying track doesn’t hurt him but slop would have given him a slightly better advantage.
Race 7 | 6. Waerea
Normally runs well first up and has trialled up well in readiness. Hasn’t been on a heavy track in a race but did trial on it and handled it OK. He is a tough bugger and once he rolls along in front and his hard to get past and in this class I expect the same today with the gun jock in the seat!
