BENDIGO

Race 5 | 9. Our Justify (BEST)

This race is at this horse's beckoning. Two back was a really nice run when finishing with Custom who went bang Saturday. Even the Flying Valley form stands up after the Mildura Cup run. She gets back to 1400m for the first time this prep and clearly that suits also. Drawn bad but does go back normally so I'll allow the G1 star jockey to decide where to place her. Drying track works and she will take a mountain of beating. Easily my best of the day anywhere!

Race 7 | 1. Endless Summer

Firmer track here is a big win for the former Japanese horse but the prep so far has been OK. Was pretty good in Sydney and then last start that run was huge where beaten by a horse who headed to HQ and got it done. That from stands up well! Getting up in trip works and the 3kg claim can only aid in a race lacking huge depth. Needs a little luck drawn wide but if finds it, will be too good here!

ILLAWARRA GRANGE

Race 4 | 11. Divine Heights

Was pretty good on debut but clearly is looking for a bit further and gets it today. Drawn perfectly to be prominent with the claim a bonus. This is an easier race as well. A couple others go into early quaddie as well bit with race day experience and the extra trip, I expect Divine Heights to run really well!

Race 5 | 1. Agraffe Rocket

Beat home Artgirl two starts back when breaking the maiden but was just OK last start in town (midweek). I like the slight drop in trip and the easier race goes without saying. This race isn't dripping in any cream and from that gate can possy up really nice. Drying track won't hurt at all and the Hippo can give him a peach. Best of the day at the track.

Race 7 | 6. Sneaky Choice

Tommy Berry stays on and that signals intent from a horse who has trialled well and has won first up before. He is undefeated on this horse and I like the 1200 kick off point. I need some speed as she normally floats back (Change The Date should provide some) and if she gets it she will rattle home. Drying track a positive and in an open race she has thr class after going to the paddock in form.
