Ken's 10: The players you would most love to play with

These guys are the ultimate teammates.

The blokes that will hit hard and celebrate harder. Hardly give an inch on the field and embrace their clubmates off it.

Tasmania's inaugural head coach and SEN Sportsday co-host Ken Hinkley has listed the 10 players that he would LOVE to play with.

"I started thinking about the players I'd like to play with in a team. For different reasons - but a lot of them mainly for their personalities," Hinkley said.

"There's 800 players in the competition, so their could be 20 lists that are equally as much fun, but these are my blokes that you'd love to play with, players that bring something different to the program."

10. Sam Powell-Pepper (Port Adelaide)

"Everyone who wants to say that I have a Port Adelaide bias at different times... yes, I have had that over a long period of time.

"But I'm talking about a player that brings great energy and drives everyone to be crazy and fearless, and that's Sam Powell-Pepper.

"When he was at his absolute best - he has had two bad knees so I hope he gets back to playing some great footy - when 'The Horse' used to take off and get after the oppo... we'd get some great vision of him after games, where he is just running crazy.

"Sometimes he'd run into the fence to stop himself from getting after the next person."

9. Patrick Voss (Fremantle)

"This is going to cause a little bit of debate with a few people, but I quite enjoy the Prancing Pony.

"Patty Voss - he is in, and for the reasons of, he is the Prancing Pony! I just love it when he gets going and he winds up and brings great energy.

"If you want to play with someone to create energy, the Prancing Pony at number nine."

8. Taylor Walker (Adelaide)

"One of the warriors in Adelaide's team. The oldest man in the team.

"I don't think anyone celebrates with the crowd better than Tex when he kicks his big goals from on the 50. He turns, looks at the crowd, puts the big guns in the air and says 'here I am, I am the big Texan, get out of my way!'"

7. Liam Baker (West Coast)

"The West Coast captain. I love the way he goes about it. You can just see he's a cheeky you-know-what.

"He loves to get in the face of the oppo, and he's giggling half the time when he's doing it."

6. Matt Cottrell (Carlton)

"Hasn't he come hard. He has come from nowhere, I reckon. I reckon the harmonica playing walker has come from nowhere!

"He has got to be on the list. As much as Carlton are great to watch, I love watching to see what he's going to do next. I think it was Will Hayward that joined in with him this week.

"The Walker is in at number six. He is a good man."

5. Jack Ginnivan (Hawthorn)

"An old favourite. A bloke I've got a great relationship with. We're really, really tight.

"He has got to play in your team, because the energy just by being himself - I don't think anything that Jack does is pre-meditated too much, other than maybe some of the goal celebrations.

"I couldn't put two in from the one team because I would have loved to have the Wizard in as well, but I went with Ginni to make sure our relationship stays strong.

"I love players that are brave enough to be themselves, and he is one of them."

4. Cam Rayner (Brisbane)

"I just love the way he plays footy, and he does it with a smile when he crashes packs and he runs through groups.

"He has always got this big, cheeky grin on him, especially when he has cleaned up someone. He just smashes them, and he goes 'get out of my way!'

"He does it with a smile. I reckon he does the over-the-shoulder (look), half-smiling at them!"

3. Toby Greene (GWS Giants)

"There's not a person in the world that doesn't want to play with Toby Greene.

"Particularly when he's got a bit of white line going.

"I hope he stays, because he is everything to GWS. Everything I can relate to the Giants seems to be related around Toby.

"I think he is such a big personality, particularly in Sydney. He plays footy just the right way."

2. Jeremy Cameron (Geelong)

"When he gave his premiership medal to his cow and just went for a walk out at the barn... I can just see, when he has won, I reckon he is going to have a really good time.

"Country lad, he is going to be a country boy and it's hard not to love him. He is one of those players that everyone loves watching, other than when he plays against you."

1. Tom Papley (Sydney)

"Tom Papley, number one. The crazy celebrator. The man who takes off and you can't catch him if you tried.

"Even his own team can't slow him down after he has kicked a goal!"
