SEN Cricket to deliver historic Australia v Bangladesh Test series

Sports Entertainment Network (SEN) will continue its comprehensive coverage of Australian cricket this month, broadcasting every ball of the historic two-Test series between Australia and Bangladesh live from Darwin and Mackay.

The series marks a significant moment for Australian cricket, with the opening Test at Marrara Stadium in Darwin from August 13 to 17 to be the city's first Test match in 22 years. The second Test, to be played at Great Barrier Reef Arena in Mackay from August 22 to 26, will be the venue's first-ever men's Test match, while Bangladesh's tour represents its first Test series in Australia since 2003.

The series also shapes as an intriguing start to Australia's new World Test Championship campaign, with selectors naming Pat Cummins, Josh Hazlewood and Nathan Lyon in a near full-strength squad for the two-match contest against Bangladesh.

SEN will be on location for both matches, with Tom Morris, John Donohoe, Simon Katich and Bharat Sundaresan leading the network's coverage across the series. Former Australian fast bowler Trent Copeland will join the team for the Darwin Test, while Australian cricket great and former Australian head coach, Justin Langer, will feature as part of SEN's coverage in Mackay.

SEN's broadcast of the two-Test series can be heard on SEN Fanatic (DAB+), SEN Top End 1611am Darwin and on the SEN App, including via SEN Sync and SEN Stadium.

The First Test in Darwin will also mark the 59th consecutive Australian Men’s Test broadcast by SEN, highlighting the network’s commitment to delivering Australians world-class coverage of world-class cricket, wherever it is played in the world.
