Can't be caught: Mick Gannon's Saturday best at Rosehill (29/08)

Leading form analyst Mick Gannon from TheGreatTipOff and SENTrack & RSN has provided his best bets for Saturday's racing.

R8 #6 BLUE DOOR

She might not be the best horse in the race, but she looks the best placed.

She was good first-up off a single trial, should strip fitter for that run, and maps to get a soft lead.

If she finds the front without too much pressure, they’ll have to catch her, and I’m not convinced they can.

R10 #2 GRAND IMPACT

Third-up at 1200m, he maps to lead or sit outside the leader, with Zac Lloyd going on a genuine jockey upgrade. On class, he has an edge over these, and there’s nothing in the field that really screams untapped upside.

Amazing Eagle is the favourite and has been going well enough over 1000m, but the extra 200m is the question. He should settle just behind the leaders, but he hasn’t raced at this trip since he was a three-year-old, so there’s a form line here that’s difficult to fully trust.
