The 2026 finals series is off to a flying start.

The Blues and the Dogs took home the chocolates in the AFL's inaugural Wildcard Round, dominating the votes in the first week of SEN's Finals Player of the Year count.

Five players will receive votes from every game across September, with a 5-4-3-2-1 voting system in place.

The player with the most votes after Grand Final day will be crowned SEN's Finals Player of the Year.
