“Looks a good thing”: Mick Gannon's Saturday best at Rosehill (26/09)

Gannon has taken a close look at Rosehill.

Race 5, No.6 - Decorum

Decorum looks very hard to beat. He was excellent first-up as a gelding, settling seven lengths off the speed before letting down strongly from the turn and putting the race away late.

He’s now 2 from 3 at the distance and 2 from 2 second-up, draws well and should get every chance again.

I have him marked $1.60 and he looks the good thing of the day.

Race 8, No.1 - Guest House

His last start was outstanding, winning the San Domenico carrying 58.5kg, being held up until the 300m before exploding through the line in record time.

He beat Warwoven by 2.9 lengths last start and Warwoven has since won a Group 2. He’s also 2 from 2 at the track and with Zac Lloyd sticking from a good draw he should get every possible.

The $2.60 is the key for mine with my price $2.10. I'll be taking the double, Decorum into Guest House at $4.80.
