SEN to deliver three calls for nationwide AFL Grand Final Day coverage

Sports Entertainment Network (SEN) is set to deliver an unmatched day of coverage for the 2026 AFL Grand Final, with three calls of expert commentary, live broadcasts and national reach across radio, digital and on-ground platforms as Fremantle chases its first AFL premiership against a Brisbane Lions side aiming to secure a third consecutive flag.

The day begins with Off The Bench – with Craig Hutchison and Liam Pickering - broadcasting live from SEN House from 9am, before Crunch Time takes over at the Footy Fest at Yarra Park live from 11am. Hosted by Gerard Whateley, Tom Morris and Adam Simpson, the special Grand Final Day edition of the program will feature special guests, rolling analysis and all the build-up to the biggest game of the year.

From 1pm, the pre-game broadcast will be live from the MCG with Gerard Whateley, Andy Maher, Adam Simpson, Brad Johnson, Sam Edmund, Stephen Quartermain, Matt Hill and Dermott Brereton.

From 2pm – after Kylie Minogue’s pre-game show – SEN 1116am’s call of the game will be broadcast into Melbourne, led by Gerard Whateley, Andy Maher, Adam Simpson, Brad Johnson and Sam Edmund.

Meanwhile, the AFL Nation broadcast - which can be heard live across Australia - will be called by Stephen Quartermain, Matt Hill, Dermott Brereton and John Donohoe.

The Freo faithful will also be able to tune into Dockers Radio, with Tim Gossage and Peter Bell providing an unashamedly biased coverage as the Dockers pursue the first AFL premiership in the club's history.

Following the game fans can tune into Finey’s Final Siren (with Mark Fine) from 7 to 9pm, for a full post-game analysis and fan feedback.

Plus, over on Bunnings Tradio (on DAB+ and the SEN App) the station will be playing artists who have rocked the MCG stage over the years.

SEN will also have a presence on the MCG concourse throughout AFL Grand Final Day, as the Metricon AFL Footy Record sellers spruik SEN Publishing’s most anticipated edition of the year, the 2026 AFL Grand Final Footy Record. With over 15,000 copies expected to be sold on the MCG concourse on Saturday alone, this year’s edition features a full analysis of the season to date, player profiles of both teams, and – of course – Spot the Difference.

The 2026 AFL Grand Final Footy Record is now available for $20 at Coles, Woolworths and all good newsagents, as well as can be purchased online via aflrecord.com.au.
