Amid all the secrecy to Peter V'landys hinting at an 11-minute Grand Final surprise, it has been revealed this weekend's Grand Final will include an emotional tribute to Jai Arrow.
The retired Rabbitohs star will complete a lap of honour around Accor Stadium to "You'll Never Walk Alone" ahead of the Roosters v Knights showdown.
Reports on Wednesday morning claim that a selection of Australian musicians will sing a rendition of the anthem which has been sung on numerous times this season to honour Arrow after he was forced to call time on his career after being diagnosed with motor neurone disease.
This season has seen the NRL alter regulations to allow Arrow to take to the field for two matches in order to reach 100 games played.
Earlier this week, V'landys teased a surprise after it was confirmed that Tones and I would no longer feature in the Grand Final.
“Watch 11 minutes before kick off and there’s going to be a big surprise... and you’ll be entertained,” V'landys told Channel Nine.
“I’ve got to tell you, it’ll be the highest-rating 11 minutes you will ever see because no one knows what it is, and we won’t tell until the night.
“And a lot of people will be surprised. There will be something, but I am not saying what it is. Stay tuned.”
