Four-time premiership winner joins the Eels

After claiming his fourth NRL premiership and first with the Sydney Roosters, Spencer Leniu is officially on the move.

The former Panthers prop has agreed to a four-year deal with the Parramatta Eels, which sees him join the club for next season.

Since joining the Tricolours in 2024, the NSW representative has played 60 games for the club, managing to run for 4,922 metres (80m per game alongside a 94.79% tackle efficiency.

On Instagram, the 26-year-old thanked the club for his time alongside his teammates.

"Thank you, @sydneyroosters, for an unforgettable chapter. A fairytale ending to wrap up my time in the tri colours❤️🤍💙," he said.

"To my brothers, the brotherhood we created I’ll cherish 4life. I love you all. 🫶🏽🏆"

Speaking on his signing, Eels GM of Football Mark O'Neill was proud to bring him one of the game's elite forwards to Parra.

"We're thrilled to have Spencer join the Parramatta Eels and become part of what we're building at this Club. He's one of the elite middle forwards in the game and has consistently performed on the biggest stages throughout his career," he said.

“We're excited to welcome Spencer and his family into the Eels community. We know he'll make a tremendous contribution both on and off the field, and we can't wait to see him in Blue and Gold."
