As Jack Bostock weighs up his playing future following the conclusion of the Rugby League World Cup, Denan Kemp is unsure if he’ll remain at the Dolphins after next season.
It’s been a stellar 2026 for Bostock, who has earned call-ups to both NSW and Australia, having managed six tries and 11 try assists while averaging 154 run metres from his 16 games this season.
This has seen rival clubs express interest in his services, with St. George Illawarra reportedly keen on signing the former Dragons junior to the club for 2028 and beyond before his Kangaroos debut,
And with his match-winning hat-trick against New Zealand in the opening clash of the Rugby League World Cup, that interest is only going to increase.

As a result, the former Broncos and Warriors winger believes the 23-year-old could garner seven figures per season, which could see him leaving the club where he made his NRL debut.
“I think there are clubs out there that will pay a mil for him,” Kemp said on SEN’s Saturday League Kick Off.
“I really do, and I think, to my understanding, and this is just whispers, this is not locked in or whatever, when all the word came about Herbie that it's basically a done deal with the Roosters, a lot of people thought, well, Dolphins have got him, they got Bostock then.
“To my understanding, it's not as clear. It's not as clear, and it's not even really about money; he may be exploring his options.
“I actually think there is a chance he may leave, which is crazy if they were to lose Bostock and also Herbie Farnworth, but at least that's the latest I've heard, not locked in.
“But this idea that because it looks like Herbie is probably on the move, they would be able to keep him for sure. I don't think that's the case.”
Alongside Bostock, the Dolphins have several stars coming out of contract next season, including Herbie Farnworth, Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow and Thomas Flegler.
They will also be without Jamayne Isaako, Kodi Nikorima and Jake Averillo, who are all leaving for rival clubs going into 2027.
