North Melbourne looks highly likely to sign a pair of delisted free agents next month.

The DFA window opens in November and when it does, the Kangaroos seem almost certain to secure Samson Ryan and Elijah Tsatas.

Ryan was recently delisted by Richmond while Tsatas was let go by Essendon in September.

“I think you can just about lock in Samson Ryan and Elijah Tsatas as DFAs,” AFL Media’s Cal Twomey said on Gettable.

“There’s a few DFAs to come once the window opens in November. Wil Parker to get to Carlton, Jake Stringer of course to St Kilda.

“But Samson Ryan and Elijah Tsatas look on their way to Arden Street.”

Ruck/forward Ryan, who was selected with Pick 40 in the 2020 draft, played 31 games across six seasons for the Tigers.

Midfielder Tsatas, who was Pick 5 in the 2022 draft, played 22 games over four years for the Bombers.

The Roos on Tuesday delisted Cooper Harvey, Zac Fisher and Luke Urquhart.

The delisted free agency window opens on Monday, November 2, 2026 at 9am AEDT, and closes on Friday, November 6, 2026 at 5pm AEDT.
