Essendon champion Tim Watson says it makes sense for Sydney to chase out of contract Collingwood swingman Darcy Moore.
It was reported on The Footy Show last night that the Swans are circling Moore, as he has yet to commit to the Magpies for 2019 and beyond.
According to Watson, Sydney chasing another tall forward is a reasonable concept.
“I think it’s sensible on their behalf,” he told SEN Breakfast.
“They’re worried about their big man department.
“Heath Grundy will finish up, Sam Reid is questionable because he breaks down all the time, Kurt Tippett walked out when they didn’t expect him to.”

Earlier this year, Moore’s manager, Liam Pickering, told SEN Breakfast that there is “no rush” on getting a new deal done with the Magpies.
Moore has been played as a forward and defender so far in 2018, and is averaging 8.7 disposals per game.
