ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE TASMANIA TEAM REVEAL – EMBLEM, COLOURS, NICKNAME AND MORE!
In attendance was proud Tasmanian Rodney Eade who described the feeling around the Paranaple Convention Centre as “electric”.
“You can sense the enthusiasm, and I don’t use the word lightly but it was electric,” Eade said on SEN Tassie’s launch special.
“You can feel the passion seeping out of them, it made the hairs on the back of your neck stand up and proud to be a Tasmanian.
“It has also indicated how successful this is going to be, how big this is going to be. It’s just going to generate so much for Tasmania. It will be aspirational for young girls and boys to play footy.
“It will unite the whole state together. It’s going to be a tsunami of green around which is fantastic.”
It is also understood that already there are close to 60,000 foundation members.
SEN Tassie’s David ‘Flash’ Lithgow was all over the influx of memberships as the night progressed.
I will cease with the running commentary regarding the numbers this evening.
