In-demand Brisbane restricted free agent Hugh McCluggage has signed a deal with Brisbane until the end of the 2031 season, reports Seven's Mitch Cleary.
The midfielder was set to come out of contract at the end of the 2024 season, with his new extension a monster seven-year deal.
The 26-year-old has played 166 games for the Lions since getting taken at pick No. 3 in the 2016 Draft.
He's averaging 25.4 disposals, 5.3 marks, 4.6 clearances and 4.7 inside 50s so far in 2024.
McCluggage has also served as club vice-captain across the last two seasons.
