Campbell Brown has added a further two horses to his famous blackbook.
The first is a horse called Plundering for the Annabel Neasham and Rob Archibald stable.
Running at Ipswich last Friday, Plundering was what you call a ‘sick beat’ as the heavily backed favourite had no luck in the final stages over the 1350 metre trip.
He finished second in the Class 5 Handicap and Brown says with any luck next start, the five-year-old gelding will be winning.
“Annabel Neasham trains a horse called Plundering and it ran last Friday at Ipswich,” Brown told SENTrack.
“Miles Pfitzner gave it a huge push on the day and if you go back and watch the replay you’ll see it got held up the entire straight in a six-horse field.
“It could not get out and when it finally got out it smashed the line to run second but by then the winner was away and gone.
“The winner looked like it was going to win by two-three lengths but such was the manner in the way Plundering hit the line the margin was only a bit of half a length.
“Wherever it goes next start I would suggest that with any luck whatsoever, you won’t get a price, but Plundering will be wining and winning quite well.”
