The Fireball team have pulled together their top five rankings in the wake of Round 7.

David King, Kane Cornes and Josh Gabelich have rated in order from 1 to 5 the teams who are in best shape for a premiership tilt.

“It’s sort of like a previous model we used to call The Seedings except there’s five instead of four,” King said on SEN’s Fireball.

See their five below:

Kane Cornes

1 - Brisbane

“The Lions at 1, the reigning premiers.”

2 - Hawthorn

“My Hawks at two. I’m holding firm on the Hawks, I think they’re a very good side.”

3 - Gold Coast

“Gold Coast are a weapon. They can win it this year.”

4 - Geelong

“No panic stations, they’re going to play a lot of games at home and will turn things around.”

5 - Collingwood

“I’m just nervous about the injuries that may pile up. I’m just holding on that.

“But they’re in good form, they’re in the five.”

David King

1 - Brisbane

“The Lions are in autopilot. They’re so experienced, they’re so well-drilled, they are numero uno.”

2 - Collingwood

“The experience of Collingwood. They don’t even need to talk to the coach, don’t need any communications, don’t need any rotations, we can handle this ourselves.”

3 - Fremantle

“I loved the way they played on the weekend.”

4 - Geelong

“A hiccup on the weekend, all is not lost.”

5 - Hawthorn

“At five, Hawthorn who are building.”

Josh Gabelich

1 - Brisbane

2 - Collingwood

3 - Geelong

4 - Hawthorn

5 - Gold Coast
