The Western Bulldogs and the AFL have confirmed the move of the Round 18 Ballarat game against Adelaide to Marvel Stadium in a bid to maximise attendance.

Only 4,814 fans could attend the Bulldogs’ first 2025 game at Mars Stadium against Port Adelaide in Round 8 due to redevelopment works.

The club wants to avoid a repeat of that small crowd that attended the Power clash.

The Dogs are keen to make up the Ballarat game in the future, but this Crows fixture shapes as a big one.

After a lot of discussion with the AFL and Visit Victoria, the fixture will officially be moved to Marvel Stadium.

St Kilda v Sydney and Carlton v Brisbane are already scheduled at Marvel in Round 18.

The club has no issue on the arrangement ongoing, the City of Ballarat or the stadium itself, it was just the fact that they could only get 4,814 people into the Round 8 game.
