James Tedesco and Tamika Upton have been named the 2025 Dally M medal winners for the NRL and NRLW respectively.
The two fullbacks came into Dally M night as the favourites considering their dominance throughout the season and role in leading both their teams to the NRL finals.
It is Tedesco's second Dally M medal having previously won in 2019, finishing 22 points of his nearest rival, Nathan Cleary.
The Roosters' fullback played every game in 2025 for the Roosters, scoring 11 tries and notching 22 try assists and 21 line breaks.
Tedesco also won his fourth RLPA Players' Champion award earlier this week, equalling Jonathan Thurston's record for most RLPA awards.
The Roosters' captain also took home captain of the year and fullback of the year honours. It is the second time he has won the captain of the year award and fifth time he has won fullback of the year; two more than the next best.
Tamika Upton became the first female player to win two Dally M awards, cementing herself as an all-time great of the NRLW.
Upton leads the NRLW in tries, line breaks, try assists, and line break assists, in statistical dominance never seen by the competition.
The Broncos' fullback also walked away with fullback of the year honours after moving back from the Newcastle Knights this season.
Upton is preparing for the grand final with her Broncos against the unbeaten Sydney Roosters.
Ultimately finishing on 35 points, Upton's teammate Julia Robinson finished in second, ahead of Jesse Southwell and Isabelle Kelly in third and fourth.
