Small field and this speedy horse will go straight to the front from barrier 1. Gets in light, second up take catching $2.80.

SCONE

Race 2 | 5. Pinot Nero

A brown booker of mine that has been super since its win 3 starts back. Was first emergency for the G1 Saturday at Randwick. Will run the trip and at $5.50 is overs in a Class 1 race.

MACKAY

Race 2 | 1. Dalt Jaz

On quick back up. Been racing well placed four of last five races. Some good efforts in there. Surely breaks the maiden today with this field. $2.40.

Sam Hyland

BALLARAT

Race 7 | 3. Geminga

$12 is very good fresh and has run well before at Ballarat, this is a good trip for her and she has the claim which brings her well in for this race, did enough in her trial and look for a bold showing.

GAWLER

Race 4 | 8. Sazerac

$15 is over the odds here, got a long way back at Penola last time in a race where there was no speed, if they go quickly he will be coming in at the end, good value bet.

CANBERRA

Race 6 | 4. Action King

$5.50 will be improved from the first up run & is drawn to have a perfect run back off speed, should be strong on the way home.

SCONE

Race 6 | 3. Kantishna

$4 is a real short course horse & she will run nicely here on her home track and she is yet to win this preparation but back in BM58 grade this is her race.

MACKAY

Race 5 | 4. He's The One

$8 has been racing well and they were just too tough for him last time, back on his home track and Quigglesgets them hard fit he can be sharper enough here, all the best punters!
