Sam Hyland, Josh Jenkins & David Taggart have your Saturday sorted on Trackside.
The lads have taken a close look at Ballarat, Doomben, Morphettville, Ascot, Newcastle, Albury & Alice Springs in a bid to find the family some winners.
See their best bets below:👇
BALLARAT
Race 8, No.2 - Howlin' Rain
Gee this horse was brave last start at Moe and did it as he liked in front. I think he gets a similar run and will take catching.
DOOMBEN
Race 10, No.6 - Lyneham
Is up to the mile here and being out of a shocking mare you would think the trip will suit. Stable is flying and jock in hot form, he wins.
MORPHETTVILLE
Race 6, No.5 - Majesticity
Yet to win this preparation but has been very honest and can put herself anywhere in the run, she will give this a shake.
ASCOT
Race 4, No.1 - Castle Road
Has the claim and has a bit on these, can win.
NEWCASTLE
Race 7, No.1 - True Amor
This horse has been a first-up winner before and will have spring in his step today. Soft draw will see him get the perfect run.
ALBURY
Race 5, No.2 - Moonlight Dream
Has been competitive in better races than this and expect her to be better with the time under her belt.
ALICE SPRINGS
Race 5, No.2 - Matron Samsing
Gets a good run here and has been sound in the red centre at all 3 runs.
BALLARAT
Race 1, No.4 - Mostly For Show
Is clearly looking for this trip and is group placed last prep over the 1400m. Does draw out in 6 and will get back, watch for him late. He can win.
Race 4, No.10 - Extreme Virtue (Each-way)
Comes out of a handy mares race first-up and she will find this easier. Her second-up form is great as she’s undefeated from 3 but does draw sticky. I would expect Williams to roll forward and she’s a great each-way play.
Race 5, No.2 - Codigo (Each-way)
Comes out of a handy race over the Flemington carnival where the form has somewhat been franked and he hits this third-up where hasn’t missed a place. Will find this easier, gets a claim and looks a nice each-way play.
Race 7, No.3 - Major Share
Form is looking good from last start when beating home Rey Magnerio who just missed out on winning the G1 over in the West last week. Will find this easier and he has third up form, conditions suit with the sting out of the track.
Race 9, No.1 - Casino Seventeen (Each-way)
Is a last start group winner who will relish these conditions. Will get a gun run throughout after drawing soft for Coffey and he just looks over the odds. A great each-way play.
BALLARAT
Race 2, No.8 - Legacy Bay
Race 3, No.7 - Ground Control
Race 6, No.11 - Storm Leopard
Race 9, No.2 - Kingswood
DOOMBEN
Race 9, No.7 - Ernaux
MORPHETTVILLE
Race 1, No. 1,2,6 (Boxed trifecta)
