Concerning news out of Adelaide as young gun Dan Curtin has been stretchered off the park at West Lakes with a suspected knee injury.
Vision out of Adelaide's camp shows Curtin taken from the ground on a cart following a mishap during a wrestling drill, with reports suggesting the young star went down with what is suspected to be a serious knee concern.
Channel 7's Tom Wilson was at Crows training when the incident occurred.
Channel 9's Braden Ingram says the club has confirmed that Curtin has suffered a dislocated knee cap. His ACL is believed to be intact.
7News Adelaide provided this footage of the incident as it happened, with captain Jordan Dawson engaged in the tussle that led to Curtin's injury.
The 20-year-old was said to have been a major standout across the Crows' pre-season, with images and notes suggesting that he was preparing for a shift into the midfield in 2026.
Curtin will have further scans to assess the full extent of the damage. A dislocated knee cap generally takes 6 to 8 weeks to recover from.
More to come.
