The BBL|15 Team of the Tournament has officially been announced.
With the regular season ending on Sunday night and with two finals already in the books, the league’s eight head coaches voted on their best XI from the season gone by.
Two players received a maximum of eight votes, with each coach naming them in their respective XIs.
Those two players were Player of the Tournament Sam Harper from the Melbourne Stars as well as Brisbane Heat batter Matt Renshaw.
David Warner was named captain of the XI after he picked up seven votes from the eight coaches.
Players to receive six votes included Scorchers opener Finn Allen and his teammate Aaron Harder, Melbourne Stars trio Marcus Stoinis, Haris Rauf and Peter Siddle and Strikers spinner Lloyd Pope.
The Stars were the most represented side with five players making the XI in Harper, Stoinis, Tom Curran, Rauf and Siddle.
Allen, Harper, Renshaw and Jack Edwards earn their first Team of the Tournament honours, while the rest of the XI add another notch to their records.
