Fremantle superstar Caleb Serong is set to sign a record deal to remain a Docker, with reports of an extension through until 2034.

The star midfielder - who is already under contract until 2027 - will reportedly join Kysaiah Pickett with the longest running contract in the AFL, committed to Fremantle for life on a deal that will see him into his early 30's.

Claiming three straight All-Australian nods, the former eighth overall pick has been a revelation in Fremantle's midfield, winning three best and fairest awards all before 25 years of age.

With his contract expiring in '27, Serong would have been one of Tasmania's biggest targets ahead of their inaugural season in 2028. However, Serong will remain in WA, signing a reported multi-million dollar extension.

The 2020 Rising Star and 127-game superstar will look to anchor the Dockers' young list deep into September in 2026.

More to come.
