With the season just days away from getting underway, Corey Parker has given his prediction on who he thinks will win the Dally M Medal.

And if Parker’s prediction is anything to go by, we’ll see a first-time winner of the NRL’s highest individual award in Sydney’s Sam Walker.

The half who is entering his sixth season with the Tricolours will now be paired with Daly Cherry-Evans, which should provide a huge boost to their premiership chances.

And the 347-game player for the Brisbane Broncos believes that the Queenslander will win his first Dally M if the Roosters go as well in 2026.

“Sam Walker will get the Dally M medal,” Parker told SENQ Breakfast.

“I expect a huge year from the Roosters, and if the Roosters are at the top of the tree, Sam Walker is polling points flat out.”

It wouldn’t be the first time that Walker has picked up an award at the Dally M’s.

The 23-year-old won the 2021 Dally M Rookie of the Year.

The season officially kicks off on March 1 when the Newcastle Knights take on the North Queensland Cowboys at Allegiant Stadium at 1:15pm AEDT.

This is followed by the Bulldogs playing the Dragons at 3:30 pm.

And SEN will have live commentary from Las Vegas available on its radio network and on the SEN app beginning from 12pm with Jimmy Smith, Chad Townsend and Tim Mannah leading the call team.
