The 2026 NRL Premiership season is almost upon us, and our Rugby League experts have given their predictions for the season.

Following one of the craziest seasons in recent memory, there is plenty of excitement for what this year has in store.

And if these predictions come true, then we're in for another incredible season.

  • Dally M Medallist: Mitch Moses
  • Early crow: Parramatta returns to the finals

Adam Peacock (Host of Arvos with Adam Peacock)

  • Dally M Medallist: Tom Trbojevic (Manly Sea-Eagles)
  • Early crow: The NRL will have matches in London, Abu Dhabi, Hong Kong, Las Vegas and New York as part of Global Round in 2027

Jarrod Croker (Co-host of Sportsday with Rat and Jarrod)

  • Premiers: Canberra Raiders
  • Grand Final match-up: Raiders vs Roosters
  • Dally M Medallist: Mitch Moses (Parramatta Eels)
  • Early crow: New South Wales to win State of Origin 3-nil

Justin Horo (SEN League commentator)

  • Premiers: Brisbane Broncos
  • Grand Final match-up: Broncos vs Dolphins
  • Dally M Medallist: Isaiya Katoa (Dolphins)
  • Early crow: Ryan Papenhuyzen returns to play in the NRL before Magic Round

The season begins on March 1 with a double header at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

The Newcastle Knights and North Queensland Cowboys get things underway from 1:15pm AEDT which will then be followed by the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs playing the St George Illawarra Dragons at 3pm.

Both games can be heard on SEN's radio network and on the SEN app from 12pm AEDT with Jimmy Smith, Chad Townsend and Tim Mannah on the call team.
