The lads have taken a close look at Hawkesbury, Seymour, Ipswich & Rockhampton in a bid to find the family some winners.

Race 3 | 9. Pearl Of Dubai

Black Opal form is well and truly good enough for this! Her runs prior to that in group races also really good and its kind of hard to believe that she is still a maiden! In saying that, she is and that’s a small concern. Drawn interestingly as the inside on the track might not be amazing . She has had the freshen up so expect her back in trip to go and control the race and have too much class in a race that doesn't scream form race going forward.

Race 6 | 1. Matima

This bloke handles the slop and that’s a bonus today. He had a really good 2yo prep but something went amiss as was 1 and done in the Autumn. Also was in much tougher races in the Spring where he was outclassed. He won on debut and that was here so that’s another positive. 1100 is a nice kick off point after only 1 trial. Has to carry the weight but is drawn lovely to stalk speed!

Race 7 | 3. Aussie Nation (win) / exacta with 2. Stay Tuned

Has been running really well in these races and again with the nice draw and the smart claim he will be on pace and In the action early. He is rock hard fit, handles the Heavy and being on speed can head to the right part of the track when needed. Stay Tuned is the danger and the only other in the quaddie. I'm backing AN because he will be 6 lengths in front of ST but 3rd up to the 2100 and slop lover means it will run on late. Take the exacta!

SEYMOUR

Race 2 | 1. Blue Shield

Was really good on debut and I love the fact that even though a little green, absolutely was great late and through the line. Will have run of the race and control it from that perfect gate. Had trialled well prior to that run and it was on a wet track so conditions shouldn’t worry him today. With improvement from Raceday experience I expect this bloke to be very hard to beat. Pravaha the danger. No luck on debut and has trialled well for this. Take the Quinella.
Race 5 | 8. Got Out The Fence (each-way)

Can do exactly the same as last start but this time might be able to get a breather in front. If he can, he'll take some running down. Enjoys Seymour and loves a soft track. He is fit and 1200m is his sweet spot. His run two back In a tougher race would win this. He is way over the odds at $15 and a huge chance to win.

Race 6 | 1. Gunz

Easily the Class horse in the race and was really good 2nd up in a strong Saturday race. He comes back to the 1000 which won't hurt him too much as he has the early toe to jump and cross (might sit OSL Harford) Either way he will be on speed and be hard to catch. Softish track no concern and class will prevail. $2.40 as short as you want him but he is 1 out in my quad.

Race 8 | 6. Wings Of Carmen

Took a swing at the Wagga Cup and missed both in the barrier draw and the class. Drops back to 1600 and a much more winnable race. Form from that race she won at Sandown holds up (it's also why Torn is in the quad) Can sit 3 pairs back and travel into the race. Soft track no hinderance and he is fit as could be and will be very hard to beat!

HAWKESBURY

Race 6 | 3. Diacon

Had good form last preparation and will be improved with the time under the belt here, has had two trials to be forward for this and looked good at both, if can handle the ground should be winning.

SEYMOUR

Race 5 | 9. Hidden Bay

Has had a slight freshen up and has been a winner at this track before, drawn a good gate to get a sweet run, I think they will coming down the middle of the track so should get to that spot in the straight, should be winning.

IPSWICH

Race 8 | 2. Chillies

Is a lightly raced horse that has shown good staying ability, he can be too good for them here and then go into a QLD derby.

ROCKHAMPTON

Race 8 | 3. The Last Saga

Has found the right race and gets in well at the weights, drawn soft and has to be a leading contender in this.
