As we reach the pointy end of the premiership season, the battle for the top eight is starting to heat up.

With six rounds left (and two matches) to go before the finals get underway, only two teams (St. George Illawarra and Gold Coast) have been ruled out of contention, leaving a wide-open race.

And within those 15 teams chasing a spot, there are plenty of storylines to follow.

Can the Dolphins claim a maiden finals berth?

Will the Panthers be able to hold down top spot after losing three of their last five game?

And do Fozball and the Sea Eagles have what it takes to jump back into the top eight and make finals in Kieran Foran's first year of coaching?

As a result, Matty Johns has named the eight sides he thinks will feature in finals on SEN's Morning Glory with Matty Johns.

See his list below.
