The Melbourne Aces have partnered with Sports Entertainment Group's (SEG) television production arm, Rainmaker, along with Kayo SPORTS and FOXTEL to deliver live coverage of the club's international series featuring teams from the USA, New Zealand and South Korea, providing fans across Australia with unrivalled and exclusive access to Australia's most successful baseball club.
Under the agreement, Rainmaker will produce 18 Melbourne Aces games across the season, with coverage of the international series to be broadcast live on Fox Sports, as well as available live on Kayo SPORTS and Foxtel.
The Melbourne Aces are one of the Australia's most decorated clubs, having won multiple Claxton Shield championships and represented Australia on the international stage. Their sustained success, professional standards and strong connection with baseball communities across Victoria have cemented the Aces as a powerhouse of the Australian game.
This new partnership marks a significant step forward for baseball coverage in Australia, combining the Melbourne Aces' on-field excellence with Rainmaker's production expertise and Kayo SPORTS’ national reach, alongside Foxtel.
Rainmaker will deliver full-match broadcasts, helping showcase Australian Baseball to a broader audience while providing enhanced exposure for the club, its players, partners and the sport.
Melbourne Aces Chairman, Brett Ralph, said the partnership would elevate the club's reach and strengthen connections with fans locally and internationally.
"This partnership represents an exciting new chapter for the Melbourne Aces and for baseball in Australia," Ralph said.
"Having all of our home games professionally produced by Rainmaker and the international series available live through Kayo Sports gives our fans greater access than ever before while helping introduce new audiences to our club and our sport.
"We're committed to growing baseball's profile and creating the best possible experience for our members, supporters and commercial partners, and this agreement is a major step forward in achieving that."
SEG's Chief Executive, Craig Hutchison, said the collaboration highlighted his organisation's commitment to delivering high-quality sports content across a diverse range of codes.
"The Melbourne Aces are one of Australia's premier sporting organisations and we're delighted to be working alongside the club and Kayo Sports," Hutchison said.
"Rainmaker has built a strong reputation for producing premium live sport, and we're excited to help showcase the Aces to audiences throughout Australia and beyond.
"This partnership reflects SEG's ongoing investment in creating compelling sports content and supporting the growth of emerging and established sporting competitions."
Foxtel Group Head of Sport & Content Partnership, Nic Goard, said the agreement would further strengthen the network's summer sports offering.
“This partnership with the Melbourne Aces and Rainmaker adds further depth to Kayo Sports’ already diverse sports offering, giving baseball a strong platform to reach and grow its fan base locally,” Goard said.
“Baseball has a passionate and engaged audience, and through Kayo Sports we’re excited to showcase the elite competition, unique stories and energy of the Aces throughout the series.”
