Sam Hyland & David Taggart have your Saturday sorted on Trackside.

The lads have taken a close look at Sandown, Randwick, Eagle Farm, Morphettville & Darwin in a bid to find the family some winners.

Sam Hyland

SANDOWN

Race 3 | 6. Mainmankash

Is a very fast horse that can run them ragged here. Sandown will suit and he is a horse in good form.

RANDWICK

Race 7 | 1. Headley Grange

Is a good horse first up and has drawn to get the right run here. He has been close in some very good races I think he can win this.

EAGLE FARM

Race 7 | 4. Mister Bianco

All three runs in have been sound and this is where he is ready to strike. He is fit and well and perfect draw to get the best run, his best is good enough for this.

MORPHETTVILLE

Race 8 | 5. Metrical

This horse gets back in the run so he needs a quick tempo but if that is the case he will be strong on the way home. Jock knows this horse and he will finish strongly.

DARWIN

Race 3 | 1. Field Of Flutes

This bloke has had a slight freshen and this is back in class. Has the claim and should stride forward.

SANDOWN

Race 2 | 4. Illyivy

Has been finishing off the placegetters her last couple not being beaten far at all. Has a tendency to be slow out but from a good draw if she’s to miss it she can pick up quite quickly. She’s been racing in better company than the rest, each-way play.

Race 3 | 1. Beast Mode (value)

Only knows one way and that’s to go helter skelter for the entire trip. This is easier than last start and he will appreciate getting onto a better surface to what he’s been on of late. Hopefully jump lead win, a great each-way play.

Race 4 | 2. Thinxzo

Has improved this prep and he was very good last start in a much harder race to this beaten less than a length. Draws well and could easily stalk the fav throughout and have last crack at it. He’s at a big price and he will run well. Well worth a small play.

Race 6 | 2. Closer To Free

Tornado Valley and Closer To Free both come out of the same race when they were resuming with Closer To Free being a much better run. Draws pole and with Zahra in the saddle he could easily control this race. He’s going to be hard to beat.

Race 7 | 2. Evaporate

Was huge first up in what is looking as a good form race. He lead them up only to get run down by Cosmic Crusader and Private Eye. Second up form is good, has won over the course and hasn’t missed a place over this trip. Should be winning.

RANDWICK

Race 5 | 14. Off The Press

Might be the one here at an each-way price. Was good first up to just miss in this grade and his second up form is superb winning 3/4. Gets a small claim for Nock along with an inside draw. Won’t be far off the speed and can win.
