Two Knights fans win Grand Final tickets thanks to Macca's

Two lucky Newcastle fans are off to see the Knights play in their first NRL Grand Final in 25 years, thanks to Macca’s through the Ultimate Newcastle McDelivery.

Following the Novocastrian’s preliminary final win against the Panthers last Sunday, Newcastle fans had the chance to win a double pass to the match alongside transportation to and from the match.

All they had to do was explain in 25 words or less why they are the biggest Knights fans and deserved to go to the game.

And on Friday morning, it was announced that Sam had won the coveted prize and plans to take his partner Teigan to the match.

The couple were announced as winners on SEN’s Morning Glory with Matty Johns with the 1997 Premiership player getting to break the happy news on air and was met with plenty of joy.

“You f---ing beauty,” Sam said.

As a result, Sam and Teigan will receive a chopper ride from Newcastle to Sydney to watch the Grand Final before then being driven home by a private driver back to their home, which has been painted red and blue in honour of the club.

The Knights will look to win their third NRL premiership in their club’s history when they face the Roosters on October 4 at Accor Stadium.

SEN League will have live coverage of the NRLW and NRL Grand Final across our radio network and on the SEN app from 12pm AEDT with Crunch Time NRL.

Kick-off takes place at 4pm and 7:30pm, respectively.
