David Taggart & Mick Gannon have your Wednesday sorted on Trackside.

The lads have taken a close look at Caulfield & Rosehill in a bid to find the family some winners.

See their best bets below:👇

David Taggart

CAULFIELD

Race 3 | 1. Porter

Won’t know himself dropping into this grade but does have to carry the grandstand even after the Bates claim. Third up form is OK not missing a place and this is his pet trip with all six wins being over the trip. Should get across OK from a tricky gate.

Race 4 | 3. Beach Pad (value)

Looks the value runner in this tricky race. Beat home the fav for this last start where both got into a little trouble in the run. Draws good and I wouldn’t expect him to get that far back in the run. Well worth an each-way ticket.

Race 5 | 7. Jett Smash (BEST)

Draws the outside gate but will roll forward for Frosty and should get over easy enough. Smashed them first up and is unbeaten second up. Is building an impressive resume and he just may be too good for them.

ROSEHILL

Race 5 | 3. Grafton Street

Ex-European who is having his first run over this trip which he should relish along with the soft conditions. Draws pole to jump on the bunny and lead all the way. Rider and trainer in good form which is a great combo.

Race 7 | 6. Metallic Cat

Got beat in the shadows first up and he strips fitter for that. Goes up in grade but will control the race to his liking and he gets his favoured track conditions. Jump lead win.

Mick Gannon

CAULFIELD

Race 2 | 5. Mister Whiskers

Was a strong winner on debut when leading throughout. By St Mark's Basilica he'll relish the rise in trip and should be well suited by the likely on-speed pattern of the day. Looks to have plenty of upside and we get a good price to find out.

Race 3 | 3. Loud Charlie

A winner of three from six and he gets a significant barrier upgrade and maps to settle forward in the run behind a strong tempo. Granted he will need some luck in the run and if it arrives he should prove far too good for them.

ROSEHILL

Race 5 | 2. Golden Century

Rock hard fit and relishes rain affected going, he drops in grade and retains J Mac two big ticks. Hasn’t won for a while, but that’s why we’re getting a price. Anywhere near his best is enough to win.

Race 7 | 6. Metallic Cat

Proven second up performer on a rain affected track and is well placed to do win again. Draws to advantage and lands on-speed which is an advantage over the 1200m start point.
