Darcy Moore’s manager, Liam Pickering, has moved to clarify the rumours surrounding the Collingwood utility’s injury situation.
Brian Taylor on Talking Footy last night stated that after undertaking scans on Moore’s hamstring strain, the Magpies’ medical team weren’t able to identify the severity of the tear.

“If there was nothing wrong with him he would be playing,” Pickering told SEN Breakfast.
“He’s obviously still been feeling it, hence why he hasn’t been selected.
“I know he was 80-odd percent last week, he trained and they obviously didn’t feel he was ready to roll.
“He’s keen to play obviously when he’s available, but if he’s not 100 percent he’s not going to play and breakdown.
“If he’s available to play then Collingwood will select him.”
When asked whether the Pies would roll the dice on Moore’s fitness in order to select him for Friday night’s Preliminary Final against Richmond, Pickering replied: “I think that could happen.”
Moore hasn’t played since Round 20 after sustaining a hamstring injury against Sydney.
