Australian men’s cricket coach Andrew McDonald sat down for an in-depth chat with Gerard Whateley on SEN Mornings ahead of the 2024/25 international summer.
The head coach recently inked a new deal to remain in the top job until the end of the 2027 season which takes him through to the next ODI World Cup in South Africa.
McDonald discussed that contract extension and plenty of the burning questions ahead of Australia’s upcoming home summer.
Those talking points included the vacant opening role as Sam Konstas, Marcus Harris, Cameron Bancroft and Nathan McSweeney bat-off for a baggy green, what India will bring in the upcoming Border-Gavaskar Trophy, runs from the middle-order engine room, rotating the pace bowlers and much more!
