“Good thing of the day”: Mick Gannon's Saturday best at Randwick (03/10)

Leading form analyst Mick Gannon from TheGreatTipOff and SENTrack & RSN has provided his best bets for Saturday's racing.

Gannon has taken a close look at Randwick.

Race 1, No.1 - Columbus

Columbus was dominant over 1800m last start and gets another good setup here despite carrying an extra kilo.

He drops into Midway grade, keeps James McDonald aboard and draws well, so he should settle right on the speed.

If he runs up to his last-start effort, he looks very hard to beat.

Race 5, No.16 - Unleeshing

Unleeshing has had little luck at her last two starts and looks ready to step up to the mile.

She draws well and the extra distance should allow her to settle closer in the run.

If she gets the right run, she should prove too good for this field and looks the good thing of the day.
